Are you saying this by looking at the picture, or have your tried them? Lever had some come through a while back in FA.

I would like to see it 9mm cause of the availability of ammo.Also it is what i shoot most with my handguns.
There are to many options in 223 and not enough of 9mm.

Levers brought 10 of them in for us (movie guns) and I compared the two mags. It's very close but not the same as a mp-5 mag. Also it fires from a open bolt so I don't know how that would affect a semi only civi version

Did you try an MP5 mag in the gun? Various pages state it uses MP5 mags.

Yes I tried a mp-5 mag -no go- and I tried the the chinese mags in a mp-5 -no go - they are different

What little I could find on this firearm stated that the magazine was an MP5 type of mag and that the MP5 mags would work. However the mag that comes with the SMG wouldn't work in an MP5. The same deal as the Typ 97 and the Stanag/AR-15 mags.

Yeah, who cares? Its better than the bullpup SMG we now have on the market.

Agreed. I'd buy one even with the 5 round limited mags. That 9mm SMG is just too cool to pass on. Like you said it beats the 9mm SMG bullpup that we have now.

One with and EOTECH would be soo sweet. I don't know how the open bold would feel and it being bulpup prolly nothing like an mp5 but then again it is only 9mm so Im sure the recoil won't be very noticable.

Then the next question is barrel lengths... I hope these are realistic barrel lengths and not 18.5.

I'd be putting an Eotech 553 on mine . Also a short barrel is a must. I want this thing to be quicker and handier than an MP5 . The ergonomics look to be an improvement over the Type 97 but still the MP5 would probably have it beat in that department.

Bullpup 9mm SMG. I'd love to take one out on the pistol range and shoot some metal . I think this would be a ton of fun.
