Anyone read their return policy?
I have taken the liberty to hi-lite in red the issue of damages .
They seem like a pretty reputable company and offer a wide variety of goods with a well thought out refund policy.
To the Op, send it back if you are concerned , your loss will be the shipping costs, but peace of mind about safety is worth it in my addled mind this the third day of 2025.

Refund policy
If you receive an item, and if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer you a 30 days to return for a refund. (All shipping fees are covered by the customer).
Take note, scopes left on the rifles should be considered as a bonus (no return or compensation accepted).
Restocking fees up to 10% can be charged.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees on unclaimed parcels from couriers or postal service that come back to us.
Take note that to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
