Wouldbe Robinson XCR review

Does anyone know if the MagPul UBR stock will fit on the XCR? If it doesn't, how about some sort of connector to get AR stocks to fit?

The iron sights go great with an eotech . When folded they are not in the way at all.
Meh, we're leaning towards a complete rifle.LOL, get the Ar180 receivers done first.

I've had it modeled up months ago, just need to find someone with a CNC setup that could do a batch run for $30 each.. This one would use the existing stock, and should be very close to the origanal folder design.
The only problem with basing your folding mech on the original design is that the original folder is a flaming pile of ####.
tested mine out today, tried setting 2 with Wolf ammo,...not one ftf or extract. also shot some 62 gr military stuff,...worked great. Only complaint is the crappy trigger....feels like 6 -7 lbs. lots of harshness. 2 stage be damned,..needs a better spring kit,..and I noticed the reset is good, but harsh as well.
Trigger is definitly a downside, the first stage is a bit too heavy and I feel the same about the slashing reset. Shoots nicely; after sighting-in 2 weeks ago, It did grouped at about 1.5" on heavy crosswinds with AE 55gr, with some practive I'm sure I can make it better. Wolf & 62 military?? humm where'd ya get that ???
Armedsask, I agree that the Robarm mechanism is strangely designed even if i'm no machinist. I don't have any grief with the button & lock but the friction hinge is the mystery... I never used any other sidefolding mech so I do not know the feeling of the spring equiped ones that I've seen pictures (Ace & stormwerkz). I tighten the hinge bolt a bit to make it hold its position by itself, I don't find it bad at all. Could you give some inputs or ideas from you standpoint, if it can help all of us to make a better canadian-made part to have a folding stock on this rifle, this could be quite good to be independant from the United States.
Here what my setup looks like, I also got a harris bipod on a larue mount that I've yet to try...

Why try to re-invent the wheel? There are plenty of great folding mechanisms out there. FAL, Galil come to mind.
For a successful folding mech you need positive lock when closed AND positive lock when folded. Friction will not cut it.
