Hopefully its Bomar or LPA or at least close enough that only minor fitting will be needed.

I ended up doing my own trigger job. It's my first time doing any sort of gunsmithing. I followed some how to videos on YouTube, and I tell ya it turned out great!! Very crisp and much lighter. I don't have a gauge so I can't tell you the exact amount of pull, but it's several pounds lighter than stock.
Unless you have the proper tools....stones/jig etc I would strongly advise against trying a dyi trigger job on a 1911. You can create a very unsafe firearm.

I have a blue one, now ordering a chrome one. So I may have two 2-tone if the parts are interchangeable. LOL..A two tone commander would be tits.

Just ordered a compact, as all of you seem very satisfied with yours.
Yes, I was talking to Dan at CanAm, and it sounds like a nice gun. I am lucky to have Rodger Kotanko, a very good 1911 gunsmith about 45 minutes from me and I have been talking to him about getting a gloss hard chrome job on my SAM, so he can work on this one also. He likes Norincos. He has a .40 cal. double stack made by them with his name on it, so Norinco parts should not be a problem for him. I am going to talk to him soon to see what kind of info I can get from him on adj. rear sights for this gun. He may even have something there.Congrats!! You finally went for it. I am waiting on the transfer to come through for my two tone, cant wait!
