XCRs in 6.8

The 6.8 has been in production for almost a year and is being sold in the US.
.308 is in the design phase.
But having more than One supplier WILL bring the price Down!
Well thank you very much, you just gave me an itch for an XCR...in .308 that is.
Yeah I'll be getting a 308 as well if they ever allow it, but I'll be shooting my 6.8 while I wait.

looking at a 6.8 already.
the xcr would make a fine little deer gun. and since pretty much all my ammo is handloaded, that makes it easier still
although the grendel or 6mmAr would be more interesting

Sorry Wildbore, but you are missing the point completely. For example there are lots of Fifty cal rifles in Canada, but no more are allowed out of the US!

The magazine setup is totally different between the two calibers.
The 223 takes an AR mag and the 7.62 uses an AK mag.
The 7.62x39 XCR doesn't take an AK mag, I believe it takes C-products mag. The whole point of the XCR is to be convertable between .223, 7.62x39, 6.8 and 6.5, so the mag well set up is fairly universal.
