Would you like to see a bunch of 6.8s hit the Canadian market?

Time to #### things up a bit.
I got this from the Robinson site.

I have decided to get this rifle, the non-restricted category is to tempting. All get it in 6.8, but if not available all gladly settle for the 308 as my second option.

Sorry Wildbore, but you are missing the point completely. For example there are lots of Fifty cal rifles in Canada, but no more are allowed out of the US!

The US State Dept is a law unto them selves, they can do exactly as they choose, they change like the wind.

We would prefer to see a much lower profile with a lot of these discussions.

Has anyone tried re-barrelling the .223 to 7.62x39.

It should be relatively easy. The only part you would need is the 7.62x39 bolt, which I beleive is an uncontrolled part and can be easily shipped.

The magazine setup is totally different between the two calibers.
The 223 takes an AR mag and the 7.62 uses an AK mag.

The 7.62x39 XCR doesn't take an AK mag, I believe it takes C-products mag. The whole point of the XCR is to be convertable between .223, 7.62x39, 6.8 and 6.5, so the mag well set up is fairly universal.
