Yellow Tail Wine Donates $100,000.00 to Anti-Hunting

The Australian maker of Yellow Tail Wine has pledged $100,000 to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest anti-hunting organization. This partnership offers further proof of HSUS’ work to spin its animal rights message in a way as to seem mainstream.

We may want to think about this the next time we're shopping for wine.

that sux, I like their wine, for a price they are quite good:(

here is my email to them
Hello,

with a great regret I have found out that you company has decided to support a very vocal anti hunting organization, the Humane Society.

I have enjoyed your wines, Shiraz and Merlots, which I think compliment very well variety of game animals I hunt, as well as fish, and as a responsible hunter take a great care to take as humanly as possible.

However your latest stand has brought an aftertaste I wont be able to stomach easy, therefore I'll have to look for other choice of wine for my next bbq/dinner party.

I hope you'll find a fair amount of followers in the carrot munching lot.

a former fun of your product,

I buy a lot of yellowtail wine here in Vancouver, BC, Canada but was startled to learn today that there was a corporate gift/donation of $100,000 to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the largest anti-hunting organization around.

Very small amounts of money donated to HSUS apparently go to animal welfare / animal abuse or conservation causes, the majority of the money goes to anti hunting and anti meat eating activities.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat, and hunting is highly regulated in North America and is a proud and enjoyable pastime. It is also a tradition from the very early days of our frontier heritage. Hunters are also a primary contributer through fees, permits and taxes to wildlife habitat creation, conservation and upkeep of these and other areas that all can enjoy. They actually do more for the outdoors than virtually anyone else.

To oppose hunting and meat eating in general is to oppose many of your customers or friends of your customers. I will think twice about spending money on your wines despite enjoying them and appreciating their great value.

Far better to give to wildlife, animal and marine conservation causes.

Thank you, and I hope you will reconsider.

well i'll drink my last bottle since i paid for it but let me tell you one thing, no more kangaroo juice for me

You're not as stubborn as me... the bottle and it's contents would be sitting on the 100 yard mark at the range... I bet it would look pretty cool to shoot a bottle of wine with a 30-06.

Hey, as an alternative, try Pelee Island winery in Ontario. Besides making great wine. they are famous for their pheasant hunts.
