You buying the new SKS-15?

It's not about discriminating..it's about somebody bringing something "new" to market and the consumer being asked an opinion.
Like many have said, the SKS is what it is and will never be an AR or AK. But guns are like Barbies..dress them up anyway you like.

No, losing the 'tool-less' takedown killed it for me. I like bringing a firearm to the range that if something happens, I can tear it down and not have to bring my toolbox. I'm sure there will be deals when some people realize it's just an SKS and throw theirs on the EE afterwards.

I peeked into the NS thread and it looks like guys are going apesh!t over them so they may sell better than I thought. To each their own. I'm very interested in seeing a review on accuracy, takedown, reliability, ammo, hold zero, etc. I will not be buying one for $850. Maybe they'll bring out a V2 with a simplified takedown and lower price.

As noted by Ryan at SFRC there will be several dealers ordering these guns including our company. If it is not for many of the members here then so be it but believe me they will sell initially as all new gun models offered in Canada do well. Time will tell if they have staying power for the future at this price. So to the question that was posted earlier...yes we have bought one, several actually. Phil.

Will you guys be doing a review? That's all that I'm really waiting for...
I believe the price is reasonable given what you get.
The "wood-stock" crowd is never going to like any dressed-up SKS.
