You Don't Own A Type 81 - You Can't Speak For Us

I am almost ready to call the rear sight bar only purpose as just a protector to keep the sight from getting polished up and shining.

That and protection of debris getting caught between the rear sight and the mounting structure which may prevent ranging operation. For an example, imagine walking through tall grass without the top bar, the sight would essentially funnel grass into and eventually completely jam up the sights ability to adjust up/down.

What if you shot the rifle sideways...like a gangster, then the rear sight would have an elevation component to it.
The T81 was basically an obsolete firearm everywhere but China and some small terrorist nations even before it was issued. It does not improve on the AK in any way, shape, or form. It's design was a little bit interesting being that they used what they had (SKS & AK tooling) out of necessity, due to being poor as ####. They were probably able to make the T81 cheaper then an AK and that was the sole goal and benefit to the Chinese....which is all that mattered at the time.

Shame you guys in the US can't get REAL AKs, just sloppy, cottage industry attempts, Bulgarian imitations or welded together scrap guns.

Laff... Your lies are old and you tell them badly.

The AK I posted is 100% matching numbers military minus the receiver..... Which is MILLED btw. Exactly as the original. No welding thank you.

All kinds of t56 AKs imported prior to ban... All the Vepers and Romanians.... all made THERE at the original factories and shipped here.

Can't fix stupid.

Ur starting to sound jeleous now loose cannon.

I want a t81 like you guys want AKs. Whats wrong with that? Lol

I honestly don't care what is better bork bork... Im a collector and have holes to fill. Yadada mean?

T81s get a little movement downstairs, but a Chinese T63. CANNON WILL DO ANYTHING!!!!!

Fwiw, you can make an AKM cheaper than the t81. The Akm has fewer, easier to make pieces.

Except for the milled receiver issue... And of course things like that PSL and RPK with 100 round drum I posted.

Meh.... More sheet to break imho. But Cannon want anyhow!!!

You guys with both of them - are the fixed or the folders more enjoyable to shoot?

Big guy with a big face and red rifles in general are a bit shy in the LOP dept.

The receiver is the heart of the gun.... If my VZ58 had an American receiver and or barrel I wouldn't want it (thats why I wouldn't want a Kodiak VZ58)... I like knowing my VZ58 is Czech not an American mutt, same goes for my Type 81, all Norc/Poly Tech!!

So happy we are not 922r compliant!!!

Poor??? Ummm, Chinese people in general are poor due to reasons that are irelevant to this thread... Having said that, Poly Tech is the defence manufacturing company of the second largest economy in the world. How they manufacture weapons has nothing to do with poverty... Much of the world is in debt to China.

Before I forget. Did I mention the plethora of ambidextrous thumb selectors for the AK? Plug/play for maybe $15.

dress it up all you want, the AK selector made sense in 1947, but if the gun were conceiver today, it would have a very different ergonomic layout.

The AK's been available for 40+ years stateside, so there is an aftermarket to discuss. The T81, in any real quantity, is new to the west, so there is not yet any aftermarket support. That may change with time.

922r compliant.... Uh, then chop your sks barrel to 16" and put a 30 round magazine in the damn thing. Wait..... You say you have your own version of restrictions?? I see

I already told you, not all AKs are built here on US receivers. Mack90, Veper, Saiga etc...

Your problem is, you think for some reason Americans are unable to create an identical receiver. Don't be an ant-American poopy pants.

I would never think of Bubba'ing my Russian and Chinese SKS barrel... I put a 30 round magazine in my semi auto rifles, that little 3 cent pin can be quickly pulled out in as many seconds should the regulation be changed (its a regulation in Canada not a law and so can still be changed with a pen strock)

Now here is something you will never have in Merica, my CZ858 (CZHermex) with it's original Czech Military barrel and receiver stamped 1961 with the SHE factory markings and Military acceptance cross swords roll mark.

Having said all that when it comes to gun freedom you are more then one up on us, except for NewYork, Maryland, NewJersey, Connecticut, and of course good ole California...

By the way, just having fun bro. I may not be anti Merica, but...

16": My AR15 in the pic has a true M4 14.5 inch barrel and my CZ858 is 15.4 inch barrel.
