If there is a demand, there will be an attempt to fulfill that demand. The liberals do realize the black marketers will try and fill the void (demand). No paperwork involved and no questions asked. They can't stop the flow of illegal drugs, tobacco, liquor, people, etc across the border. It is the same for handguns. The Canada/US border is porous to say the very least. The liberals publicly talk the talk but then drop the hammer on licensed Canadians. But the liberals hate firearms and hate the people that own them so in their minds the "freeze" is a justifiable move.

I had a look at some of my watched items on ####### last night (all non-restricted) and looked through some of the newest ads. There was a Glock 17 "low round count" for $1,700, a CZ P-09 for $1,300, a $900 Norinco 1911 (these are made with the best steel! yadda yadda), a GP100 going for $1,900. Its absolutely mayhem out there.

I'm just worried about parts availability for the guns I *do* have, I'd like to turn this extra NP-40 frame into a usable pistol at some point.

There was someone listing 2 (Girsan) 1911s for $12500 on another classified listings site. The guy also listed a G44 for $9750.
