Your favorite ridiculous handgun price!

Paid 1900 for a BNIB MK23, it's still worth 1900 not more, now that it's for my shooting pleasure only. Period.

The guy that just posted a gen 1 glock 17 for $1650 lmfao. $500 gun at best. 4 gens of better glocks since then.

But there are not many Gen 1 around in Canada, so its a collector item. Just because it is old doesn't mean it isn't worth it. Quality of Glocks started to goto #### after Gen 3.

Yeah I get it. I had a gen 1 in perfect condition. I asked the “experts” on here about it before selling a few years back and the most anyone said was around the $500 mark. Just because it’s the original gen doesn’t mean it’s actually valuable.

There have been a few Gen 1s that have sold on the EE over the past few weeks for between $600 and $700.
What I find more comical is some of these insane prices are posted by members with 100+ traders ratings, which would lead you to believe they have an idea of what the prices should be. Even better is when the ad has been bumped 5-10 times with no price drop.

Pirate - the first part of your post - unless you were the Buyers and/or the Sellers in those transactions over the past few weeks, you (or I) do not know what they sold for - we do know what the Seller was asking for them, but do not know what amount finally changed hands. Is a curious aspect that I found on CGN - sometimes - as if the "asking" price is / was always the "sale" price ... From my own experience selling things on CGN, is pretty much inevitable that someone will offer up a significantly "other" price, than was my posted asking price. And, sometimes, I have accepted those offers, because there was apparently no other interest in what I had posted for sale.

Bought a SW22 Victory from a dealer in January which was on sale for $400 something which is usually $500 something. After the freeze some dealers had them at $700 something. Like really, kind of sad.

While I agree with you that only the buyer and seller only know the true sale price, I doubt they go for higher than listed. I made an offer on one of those Glocks within an hour of the ad going up and was told it was already sold.
But as always an item is only worth what some one is willing to pay.

I just had a Beretta 92S Italian surplus arrive and it’s in amazing shape, new set of grips would be nice, and I paid $399 the day the Libs announced all this foolishness. Seemed a great price to me.

CZ 75 Pre B for $2600 at Switzer’s. Sure it was in very good condition but that’s still like, $1800? overpriced.

Also saw an M&P 40 non range kit, just the regular gun and two mags, for $1300.

Well, have I got a deal for you.....I have a M&P 40 range kit with low round count that I'll let go for the same price but I'll accept as much as $6000 if you like, or trade straight across for a Shadow 2 or other competition CZ 75 platform : )

Two Girsan 1911 (pair) on another site for $12500 !

Just nutz.

That guy is just a troll, highly doubt he got a single bite... If you look at his other guns and his prices. Near 10K for a Glock44, 1500$ for a Hipoint, Ruger Wrangler, GSG 1911, CF98..3K for a Girsan MC9 and the retardism continues.

Laugh2 What's his handle?
