** Your NEA102 build **

I know, I try not to offend so I have to be generous :xes

Wish there was more training in the Edmonton area, I don't want to travel for it and there doesn't seem to be a lot offered around here. I should have joined in when my buddy was telling me about a two day course in Red Deer a while ago.
I guess I could just practice more at home and do some of the drills I remember from the course I did two summers ago.

The only problem I can see from cutting off the tabs is that the only reason anyone in their right mind would buy an NEA/BCL product is because it's got a great warranty. Cut tabs off the receiver and they can deny warranty claims from that point forward. I guess you just need to smash 500 rounds through it in an afternoon and make sure it works before you modify anything, once you know you won the BCL lottery you can comfortably chop and cut whatever you want.

A warrenty that you have to pay for shipping when they obviously didn't even qc the parts...lmfao. What a joke.

Will be hillarious when they start to deny warranty claims because some guys want nicer looking rigs. You cant buy NEA unless you know how to tinker with guns.

At least with IOP they will get less of my money.... Hahahhahaha

I cant wait to do a side by side of the ####ty NEA parts and the aftermarket ones. Might even be surprised and say they are good but I highly dpubt that...lol...

When I get my rifle back from these clowns, I plan on running a s-h-I-t load of ammo to see what breaks next... so far, 2 sets of rings, ripped the #### out of the upper due to the cam pin and noticed a few other anomalies compared to other AR type rifles. I certainly hope that BCL gets their act together.

Thank you so much for all the posts. This thread was highly entertaining. What is that phrase about leopards and spots. NEA/BCL they never fail to entertain. LMFAO.

Couldn't they deny warranty if anything other than the parts made by BCL are used? That is probably why they have made no comment on which parts fit or not. Yes I am a newb to the AR platform. But am not interested in making a "Operator" rifle. Just want something non restricted to shoot at the range and out in the woods. This scratches that itch. I will change some parts that make it more user friendly but not going Dilly obsessive about it. Me thinks though that BCL has left an out to their warranty and some here have stepped knee deep in it. I haven't even seen an official warranty document issued by BCL or a user manual for that matter so they can do what they want pretty much. But yes I suspect modification to the receiver will void warranty and that is why they have added the tabs. I though don't mind the look of the fore end. But then again I am not an operator, operating operationally.

So because people want to change hanguards they are operators ? Give me a break.

AR's are Legos for grown a$$ men. None of us who plan on ripping off the cheap a$$ looking parts give 2 craps about a ####ty warrenty!

Just looking at the pictures posted of the bolts and finish would make me run away if this was a Restricted. But since its NR im essentialy wasting 2k buying a Receiver set nothing more. LOL

Well you are getting one on IOP pricing, so what are you "training" for then as mentioned in previous post? The Zombie Apocalypse?

I love to troll...

Whew! I was starting to wonder how seriously loose someone’s screws must be to lay down $2K just to get in on the let’s make fun of bcl/NEA circle jerk! ;)

I get that people are pissed that stuff they ordered may not fit, I’d be pissed too if I was in that boat. But grinding off a tab to install an aftermarket hand guard is not going to void anyone’s warranty - these guys have always stood behind their stuff in the past so not sure why anyone would think differently now.

I'm on the gen 2 preorder so I have upgraded my upgrades:
