Youth sport shooters stripped of Ontario Summer Games honours

Thanks to everyone who played a part in this reversal for Chris and Sabrina. You really came through, as we all knew you would. We at EESA are very proud of Chris and Sabrina and all our young shooters that will be representing Sporting Rifle at the Summer Games in August (my daughter included). We are pleased that Chris and Sabrina will be able to take part in the events this coming Wednesday, thanks to everyone who let their voice be heard.

Having said that, we know that we cannot let this die. We as sport shooters cannot afford to become complacent. Those who made this horrendous decision in the first place felt they were right. They only regretted their decision when we let them know they were wrong. Everyone needs to be made aware as to how wrong they truly were. Discrimination can never be acceptable.
 
I have never been embarrased to be Canadian but if I was it would be because of politicians like Michael Fusco.

Let me get this straight,

City employees made this decision?
They are not elected, the mayor and appointed city council are.
These people need to be fired immediately and a public statement issued by the elected official they were speaking for.

As employees of elected officials they must be competent advisors to their employers.
If their elected employers want to seek re-election they need to distance themselves from these incompetent staff members.
 
They should ban the mayor and the council from the city, lynch mob style. To avoid anymore 'outbreaks' of stupidity.

They should come up with a new campaign slogan with a disclaimer.

Thanks for taking the time to prove that Torontonians like yourself are too stupid to tell the difference between aspiring young people who apply themselves to a sport, and the gangbangers who prowl around in your poor communities.

You are what's wrong with society, Sir. You are an example of the kind of sheep who doesn't know which way to go, or how to get there - tilting at windmills while your city gets ripped apart by the filth that won't play by the rules of polite society, no matter how many laws we write, or how many concurrent gun bans we place on them.

Good on you - keep ostracizing the decent folks. Maybe some of these young shooters will become disenchanted with their efforts. Maybe some can beef up the ranks of the gangs, and show them how it's really done - maybe then they'll get recognition for their years of work.

Sent an email to Mr. Fusco asking for the names and contact info of the individuals responsible for making that decision in the first place. They still need an arse chewing for being that ridiculous in the first place. That was just plain lunacy.

So... The shooters were armed with gun, they were male and black.... Only disarmed white women allowed on stage!!! Morontarians Lieberals....
 
I'll bet the gangbangers are laughing their @sses off, and laughing even harder while they load their guns. It's great to see the CGNers fight the fight.
