I'm not going full clone on DDMK18, but every piece I pick is greatly influenced by that kind of threads and I tend to pick what "they" use most of the time anyway, they do know what they are doing afterall.
I needed a proper companion for my MK25 too, my 2 favorite guns by far.
Better pics to come once everything is set but here is where I am so far
Black DDMK18
KAC M4 and micro 600m BUIS
BFG RMFL and vickers acetal sling
BCM mod a44 charging handle and mod 0 comp
Magpul K2, XTM handstop, MOE stock +Epad and x2 MOE PMAG
Noveske STS
ADM B2 T1 cowitness mount
Aimpoint H1 (4moa?)
waiting for a TD stubby QD and iO cover... That's it for now but I see a SOPMOD stock in the near future and I might give the flaming pig a try: the BCM ain't bad but there is still a bit too much concussion/noise for indoor.

Parts are all inbound. I'll put mine together in a week or so. It won't be a true clone, but it should be bad ass.

This is it so far. Sights, mount for optic, sling and sling mounts still inbound.
LMT MK18 Upper with DD 10 Lite Rail off the EE for a great price. BCM Gunfighter charging handle.
PSA Lower with CMMG LPK, Spike's buffer and tube and Phosphate BCG.
Range this weekend.
Not a legit MK18, but a work in progress.

judging by your picture, you didn't buy a DD RIS II MK18 rail. Looks like you got the AR15 LITE RAIL 10.0. Wolverine Supplies has the rail you're looking for. If you're serious about building this rifle i suggest you check this link out. It's not CGN but page 1 will give you a good guide to the parts needed to build something legitimate.

Yes, I realize my error. It is a Lite Rail that came on this upper. No big deal operationally, but indeed incorrect for this build.
I'll be sourcing an RIS II soon.
Still a nice upper, though and I intend to shoot the sh*t out of it. LOL

Very nice pictures who in the hell can afford all this neat stuff. I am totally envious . I am on a very limited budget as I am retired but will continue to purchase what I can afford. The more I want. the more I will buy.

Sounds like an awesome build ya got going. If I'm not mistaken, you're building a M4 with that 14.5" barrel 'cause I believe the MK18 uses a 10.3" barrel.
