The auto industry do mark their cars in the same way, but cars are a bigger, so you don't notice them as much. Something tells me you're just bitter about the idea of making an iconic American rifle, quite possibly better than they were ever made in the US.
So we are all on board with removing her from office ? Count me in

I own a Miroku / Winchester 1886 and those marking are present on the round barrel but very hard to see. They are small and about 3.5 inches long. I had to go look for it on my gun after seeing the marking on this one. Never noticed them before. The size of the barrel might make it look much bigger on those pictures.

The sad reality is most Japanese made stuff is rivalling and surpassing American and European quality
I tried to export from canada or IMPORT INTO THE USA a colt single action army that was of course made in the usa, under the newer regulations the importers name must be visible and in the same script or size as the original manufacture (before you used to be able to hide it under the grips), that is why it looks like it does,
sorry to be of some help and explain why it happens, I know how much better it is just to complain about something you know nothing about
have a nice day idiots

Your point is invalid, along with your original post.Wow, I'm guessing your family tree is a straight line![]()
Did you try to export the piece through IRUN Guns or Prophet River? I'm pretty sure those folks can get get the toys to the US-of-Corruption with only paperwork and not re-stamping of the item.
good suggestion but I have been importing and exporting for longer than they have been in business, do not know everything but some things, and I did not mean ot come across so p[oorly, just upset at the silly regulations and the lack of transparancy
