WTF is this crap?

I'm a little disappointed they didn't put there postal code , addresses , and a small map with GPS coordinates ! Lol ;-) . Honestly that would be a deal breaker for me .

Gold inlay kit?

I kid, I kid!

The auto industry do mark their cars in the same way, but cars are a bigger, so you don't notice them as much. Something tells me you're just bitter about the idea of making an iconic American rifle, quite possibly better than they were ever made in the US.

Wow, I'm guessing your family tree is a straight line:rolleyes:

I own a Miroku / Winchester 1886 and those marking are present on the round barrel but very hard to see. They are small and about 3.5 inches long. I had to go look for it on my gun after seeing the marking on this one. Never noticed them before. The size of the barrel might make it look much bigger on those pictures.

Here are my Browning 1886s. as you can see no bs safety lever and no bs writing on the barrel, the way it should be. And yes donut breath the "yellow man" your words not mine do make a better product that the "wops and yanks":p (My grandma is part wop:p)

I tried to export from canada or IMPORT INTO THE USA a colt single action army that was of course made in the usa, under the newer regulations the importers name must be visible and in the same script or size as the original manufacture (before you used to be able to hide it under the grips), that is why it looks like it does,

sorry to be of some help and explain why it happens, I know how much better it is just to complain about something you know nothing about

have a nice day idiots

Did you try to export the piece through IRUN Guns or Prophet River? I'm pretty sure those folks can get get the toys to the US-of-Corruption with only paperwork and not re-stamping of the item.:)

After seeing and shooting the Miroku made rifles, my next one will definiely be an 1886 "Winchester"!:D

When did the long and large descriptions start? My Miroku Winchester 1892 Special Edition Deluxe .45 Colt Takedown with octagonal barrel doesn't have it. And yes it is an extremely well-made and very reliable rifle.

After learning about Japan's Gun Laws I am trying my hardest not to buy anything made there... That and China... even though I love my m305.

good suggestion but I have been importing and exporting for longer than they have been in business, do not know everything but some things, and I did not mean ot come across so p[oorly, just upset at the silly regulations and the lack of transparancy

At least ruger listened to there customers when they revamped the vaquero and put that bull#### under the barrel where it cant be seen. And for the record I like the gold fill kits if done properly.

Since when did Miroku ruin a once nice firearm with all this tripe using awful font? I'm shocked the message is not in Spanish on the other side for the US market and French for here FFS. We know where its made. Can you imagine if the auto industry marked cars the same way:rolleyes:

Would have been nice if they left room for you to print you hunting licence and pal number on their too. Then you wouldn't need your wallet when you hunt.
