234 Wildcat Family....ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Back from the tundra and glad to see things moving along with the project.

Any chance of a Penguin barrel by September? Drew a caribou tag here and would love to take my first one with a Penguin.

Normally HNL I'd say yes, however given the fact I'm still working in the Yukon and it's already the first week of July, I'd have to say unless you could settle for the Hyrax it's not looking good..............

Douglas

I wasn't aware of any bird theme........Pipsqueak, Lynx, Hyrax, Penguin and Douglas..................one bird, two animals and two generic terms, no THEME there that I can see. Actually the Lynx is for the far north, the penguin for the far south and hyrax right in the middle globally speaking..........Douglas is for "yours truly" and pipsqueak designates the runt of the family and the only one based on the .375 case head diameter (222 Rem Mag)

Typing of Pengwins............here's a Humpday Tidd-Bitt fer yu'all.................

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica ?
Where do they go?

Wonder no more!!!
It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an
extremely ordered and complex life.
The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life (not like Dewgie),
as well as maintain a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and
social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks,
until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into, and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

"Freeze a jolly good fellow."
"Freeze a jolly good fellow."

You really didn't believe that I know anything about penguins, did you?

It's so easy to fool OLD people.

I am sorry; an urge came over me that made me do it!!!

Oh quit whining, I fell for it, too.

Well patient gentlemen, I should be one with my lathe again in about 10 days. First project is 458 on the Ruger case, then next will be the lynx and hyrax. Should be able to do all three in less than a week, actually should be able to do all 3 in a day, but I don't want to work that hard at it. SSSOoooooooooooo you ask what has this to do with you? Well if the shooting Gods smile on me I should be flinging 234 bullets in a couple weeks and have some idea of the ballistics of these 2 anyway............
