Was it just a matter of letting the lower sit in the CLP for a certain amount of time? Or was there other prep work you used?

Just dunk them in oil and they come out looking just like the SA lowers. Give it an hour to be safe and wipe off.

That Spikes Buffer and JP spring combo is in all my AR's. Make the rifle easier to #### and you don't hear the annoying buffer sound..

I realized that I can't just strip the parts out of my Omni lower as the Diemaco has a different size buffer tube. I have the CC black furniture so I need a military sized buffer tube and spring?

Only the external dimension of the tube is different. If you aquire a mil spec reciever extension (buffer tube), all can be moved over.

I shall look for a decent quality buffer tube in mil spec dimensions.
