What's wrong with posting your hunting videos ?Giving antis more ammunition is a bunch of BS. Ant hunting groups have there agenda just like .that stunned ##### Wendy they don't care about the facts they make them up as they see fit .Did you loose your balls to suggest this?? Stand up and man up it is not illegal to hunt it is a life some of us choose to follow .

It can be made illegal.

Only an ignorant person cannot know that non-hunters and non-shooters make up the vast majority in this Country.

We need to act prudently.

Do you think the lowering of hunting limits. Removeal if spring bear hunt etc etc were just population driven?
 
There was a video in our local news about a 9 year old shooting a bear, dam the unfavourable noise over this was deafening. I agree with the advise of this post, stop posting your hunting videos as nobody needs to see them. In particular the anti's.
 
Problem is that everybody loves a train wreck.

Post a vid "Clean kill at 300 yards!" you'll have maybe 256 views over the next year.

Post a vid "Shot Deer's Ass off at 1000 Yards!" and you'll get 1000x that in the first week... day... hour

Same as everything, "Toddler's first steps - SUCCESS!" vs "Toddlers first steps - FALLS DOWN STAIRS!"

Post enough of those videos and the will be charges / legislation for baby helmets...

Read the pists. Posting a vid of you shooting a deer and it running away tripping over its guts is not a video that makes the hunting community look good. It looks piss poor really. And as i said a good video gets us 1 step forward a bad video gets us 3 steps back.

i see no reason not to post a good clean kill, there is nothing to criticize. be it head shot, spine shot, or heart/lung shot. all are ethical and clean kills, showing a shot to the abdomen, or a texas heart shot is not something id be posting for the world to see.

One of my biggest peeves is on those hunting shows, where they clearly make a terrible shot, then try to play it off as a good one. IMO it's something the networks that air the shows should clamp down on. If you can't not gut shot a deer, you shouldn't have your own show...
 
Have made my living in the outfitting industry my entire life and gotta admit I find it hard to watch a lot of the hunting videos even on the US and Canadian TV...Something is lost when the kill and the silly celebration afterwards is made public...I am not proud of being a hunter or give a shyte what the antis think...A hunter is just one of the things I am...Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be flying without GPS and use and enjoy all the electronic gadgets but this digital age is taking away the dignity of the hunt.

Don't fool yourself as humans we have no dignity .there is no dignity in the hunt any more unless you were hunting with a spear or knife to put food on your table . The only thing close to dignity we have as hunters is to ensure a quick and clean kill on the animal we are hunting.

its certainly not about just the population otherwise the spring bear hunt wouldn't have been canceled as there are record numbers of bears in those area's, it was about fluffy booboo bear being shot and the yuppies in the area not liking it.

kinda link those videos of target shooting laughing, destroying targets and leaving messes around.. better remoind those guy to hide all thier videos from CGN as well.

Why hide?? #### em, post vids having fun, posing with your kill, show kids too. If the anti's get in a tiff, #### em...Don't be ashamed of what you do and are.

The very first thing I ask anyone who argues with me about hunting is are you a vegetarian? If they say no I don't bother to even try and reason with them, as they are to hypocritical to even bother with. I simply tell them to please stop promoting animal cruelty by eating farmed meat and please consider doing the humane thing and taking up hunting. Most give me a very confused look like they don't even know where the meat they eat comes from.....
