Well I owe you a coffee... You were right.
I might switch my 8" bull barrel for a longer barrel. Unless a 8" 10/22 be fine for within 100 Yards?
Just to clarify: So...15-22 and little airwolf are the same guy and have been permanently banned?? If so that is the best news I have heard in a long time

Yup, same mags so you get to use your existing RAR mags (which are technically 10/22 mags).
Nice to see people get what they deserve.
Back to the thread. I guess I'm happy to have a late 80's 10/22 I bought new when I lived in Regina. Haven't even shot it in a long time, but it used to love PMC hyper velocity. The gophers, not so much. It's was as accurate as I could ask for, and never had any issues with it, other than 25 round magazine I tried way back when.
I hear a lot of people poo poo on the 10/22. But having no comparison between newer production and older, maybe there is something to it. Or maybe not.
I had purchased a newer production 10/22 off EE, and lots of KIDD parts with intentions of doing a build, but it never happened. Couldn't see tearing down a like new gun to build it into something different. Never shot it, and recently sold it to another gunnutz.

Honestly a 10/22 in the right hands with good trigger control can shoot pretty well even at 100 yds
