Was that where?
RCMP SFSS letters and emails to various retailers, potential manufacturers and importers of the various 50 beo magazines. I quoted a section from the one Armtac (was the importer for Alexander arms) posted on the forum earlier in this thread.

You all seem to forget that our new liberal government gave the RCMP full authority over all gun legalities in this country after they came to power

News to me. Yesterday (by mistake) I loaded 10 rounds of 5.56 into an XCR 7.62x39 pistol mag. I noticed the printing on the mag before trying to shoot, but they sat int he mag just fine. Maybe tomorrow I'll see if they will feed. They look like they will.

Well, I tried this today. 10 rounds easily fit in the x39 magazines. Looking at it closely, it looked a little funny but they did fit. Did it work? Sorta. I only tried one magazine, in an AR15. It would feed 2 or 3 then jam. Tried it a few times and that was the result every time. BANGBANGBANG jam-clear jam-BANG BANG-jam-clear jam- BANG BANG BANG

Does this have any relevance to legality? I have no idea. Laugh2

genuinely surprised it worked even that much.

If you dont want to hear it, unsubscribe from the thread and dont participate. Otherwise, you can "post 80" yourself. And I would be surprised if you dont get an infraction for your post.

Shawn, not even you are dumb enough to suggest that the ability to fit in an action and feed bullets into the chamber isn't relevant to whether a mag is intended/designed/manufactured for a particular gun.

FF

You are the one claiming that feeding is now part of the law

FF

Are you dumb enough to think that a 7.62*39 mag is a 556 mag?

Shawn

Doesn't matter what I think. It matters what constables and ultimately a judge think. And at this point, the only opinion being heard by decision makers is the one of the gents in red serge. And their opinion is that 50 beo mags are all prohibs.

FF
and yes, seeing as how I engage in threads in which you participate, I must be pretty F'ing dumb.
