2017 successful deer hunting thread!

Well I notched my last tag of 2017 this morning. I snoozed 2-3 times this morning and boy am I glad I did, I ended up getting to my blind at first light and this brute was hanging out 140 yds in front of my blind with an other buck and 3 does, probably would've spooked them if it would've been dark. Dropped him in his track and ended my 2017 season with a smile ear to ear!

Was lucky to get out this year....so busy with the kids. Finally after 11yrs, got to go back to the Peace during Aug and get a moose as well. Got three bulls between 5 of us on this trip. Also got a buck and doe during whitetail season with my bros. Lucky lil brother always wins with the bigger buck:d

I agree! Great work folks.

One of things I really love is the coast to coast perspective on the game out there right now and the cool regional distinctions. Keep tagging 'em and posting 'em because it is really great to see.

Awesome to see all the successful hunt pics, lots of nice looking animals on the ground!

Lol , sweep the leg , shoot the buck.

Ahahaha, good one!

Got my first buck this year. Unit 84 in Ontario. Not a monster, only 4 points. But a solid 325 yards with my 308 Ruger scout in a corn field.

I passed so many smaller bucks like this in the last two week waiting for a bruiser but had to cut my tag for meat since tomorrow is my last day hunting.
