You can go buy gas in the US, just like you can buy this gun there and import it for $500 less then NS is ripping you for.
Well then do it !
And you will have it for 1500, where is your problem?

As per usual, more non-sense.
The only vendor with the current model rifle in stock, is Brownell's at $1249USD; which is aprox. $1603CDN (as of this post), making this rifle $396 more expensive than US retail. The rifle is sold out at $1199.95USD, giving us a differance of $459CDN.
This is not factoring the associated costs of bringing the product to a small international market...
Man...what a scam...![]()
It is my money so I can do whatever I want with it.Here is an example of a "price pimp" right here^^^
"It's only $400-$700 more, still a great deal, we aren't getting scammed"
Lol. Math.Fail.

So you are calling Wantsalls outright liars. Great. At least we now know your position on the fanboi spectrum (hard right). Here's their actual quote:
In close consultation with the President of M+M Industries, we believed at the time that we had the full and appropriate pricing structure...we did not. We misunderstood some of the information regarding pricing
You can use all the catch phrases and made up numbers you want to shore up your ignorance and troll behaviour, it does not change the fact that small market importers and vendors need to make money in order to bring these items to the consumer.
Then you're going to miss out on being 'elite and demonstrably prosperous'.
Shin, Paul, and other Rational CGNers,
The usual M+M trolls are having one of their repetitive hate-fests in this thread. There is nothing to be gained from speaking the truth or trying to have a reasoned discourse with the same old handful of haters. They refuse reason and prefer to spew bile. You may as well move on and hope that their incessant stalking of M10X threads does not extend to every discussion of the new rifle. Just put them on Ignore - it works like a charm and filters out the asinine remarks of the haters trolls so that they don't distract from your enioyment of a discussion. Just saying....
Is that what you think those who want this rifle are doing ....... really deckard go #### yourself.
Your little pokes and jabs are getting very childish. Move on
This is what they said early October:
They also indicated they were told a year or two ago at shot show or something like it that there would be no exclusive distribution of the rifle in Canada, and therefore, believed they would be able to bring them in themselves. This is important because it lends to where they got their price number from... the pricing on the M10x-Z in the U.S. at the time the FRT was approved.
It was not until November 7th, that they stated "Just to clear things up with everyone. We did confirm pricing and eta with the President of M+M, before the pre-sale.". A full month and a HUGE amount of debate after the fiasco began. If this was true, why would that not have been the first words out of their mouths? M+M is what they are, but if you read their responses immediately after the pre-sale came out, they were clearly surprised. Not exactly something you would expect if they already discussed pricing and timing for delivering rifles to Wanstalls before the presale. The fact that Can Am themselves said they were told $2k plus in February of 2017 lends further credibility to M+M's initial responses in early October.
Either way, I'm not anywhere near calling on a boycott for ANY dealer over this, that's ridiculous to me when I see that... that includes calls for boycotts on M+M.
Hate to say it, but yes, a percentage of people always buy the newest most expensive "X" (replace X with gun, car, girlfriend, etc.). Fact of life. In fact, often the more pricey the status item was, the happier they are.
Yes, they said that when M&M assured them that by getting their knees bloody, they would be able to still secure rifles at the original pricing for their pre-orders. That they were made to recant and hump that sh!t speaks volumes to how M&M does business.
When you need product to meet your customers' expectations, and the holders of that product have all the negotiating power, businesses will say what they need to say to not lose face, lose customers, and maybe not pay the rent. When M&M ceased to have that power over Wantsalls, that's when we started to hear the real story out of them - IN MY OPINION. Your views are only opinion as well, by the way - I've yet to see you prove anything other than quoting posts here.
I hope your enjoy you rifle, or selling M&M rifles, or whatever your interest in them is. You've made your position very clear, and I respect that, but there is no convincing me they are the victim when it comes the the tatters their reputation currently lies in. It's likely a fantastic rifle. Too bad they suck so hard at marketing practices and alienated a bunch of potential customers.
If only they had fitted a DMR pistol grip - maybe that woulda made it all better.
And my comments weren't directed at you. I considered the way this (probably good) product was 'marketed' was flawed. It was someone else who went off the rails and decided any comment was 'clearly' about 'jealousy' and such. Soooooo.
Its a pre-order right now.
