here is the relevant Q:
just found a piece of wire btw the external muzzle and the core muzzle
WTF is that?
Removed it-looks like doesn't belong to the rifle.

It's a tension spring to stop rifle grenades from rattling.

I just want mine mailed to me I’m not asking much
Why would they say that and why would you ask that after he said the replacement showed up in good shape and that he was happy with it?
When you sent yours back is that what they told you?
Don't know what that is but it's not a T81 or an AK. Thanks for the completely irrelevant pics.
Wow... You haven't got it yet? At this stage I'd be worried they ship you returned sloppy seconds. Make sure the bag is sealed when you open it. Original unopened guns come in a sealed plastic sleeve.
Not yet so not much positive to say..... I guess I voted too soon in that pole
Ha well I wouldn’t wanna have a melt down and get banned so I’ll leave it at one possibly two thumbs down for now. I kind of lost interest at this point mehYeah, well, worst case they will help you out in Q1 2018 - whatever the heck that means.![]()
Am still waiting tooheard on the radio that CanPost is a complete mess right now...
I haven’t got a tracking number so I’m not about to place blame where it’s not warranted
I'm sending mine back as well for a full refund. They did tell me that the replacement might be good, just as bad, or worse. Apparently they won't check them first, or they don't have any extra to go through... Who knows.
Mine's going back tomorrow.
Why would I ask? how about because I wanted to know if he or anyone else that was doing the return process was told what I was and it looks like I got some answers. I can only get information like that on here from other type 81 owners
Mine should be arriving back to them on Tuesday. I've been dealing with Neil and just as Visleguy said was only given instructions on how to return the rifle. Will report back with how things play out. I'm hopeful it goes like it did for Visle![]()

Wow, did they actually tell you you’re replacement could be worse?
Yeah I don't want one if its as bad or worse so I'm not taking the gamble and I am retuning for refund. I did not know that a straight rifle was to high of expectations when I got on this type 81 ride had I known a visibly bent receiver was within manufacturing tolerances I would not have bothered at all. I honestly don't blame TI its my mistake I'm still relatively new to firearms there is much I do not know about them and other things like proper grammar punctuation spelling or wiping properly oh well learning the hard way FOR F#*K SAKE!!

WRONG. You should blame TI, a straight rifle is a fair expectation, and this fiasco is a function of TI not paying for better QA/QC. The only QA was the (I think it was 70?) rifles they looked over at the factory before accepting the shipment.
At $1000 per copy, they should have had their own QA/QC inspector there for manufacture individually accepting each rifle.
