You Don't Own A Type 81 - You Can't Speak For Us

And for the guys having feeding issues...

Align them rounds...[/QUOTE

Yup. 2 rounds out of over 500, the very first 500 through the gun at that. My maths isn't the bestest, but I think that is a very small "failure" rate, especially during a break in period.

Was this an issue with ammo? A feedramp needing to be worn in a bit? Me not aligning rounds properly? Me shooting after dark under artificial lighting and in sub zero temperatures? Whatever the cause it was not an issue that took more than half a second to get past.

Who knows. Sh!t happens.

Depends. The only failure I've had with any of my 858s are because of garbage TulAmmo. So I feed it to the SKS.

The only failures on my SKS that I can recall have been one or two failures to eject, could have been poor chamber cleaning on my part, but other than that my SKS has not had an issue of any kind in years. I believe the stuck cases were czech surplus. Not sure if I needed a cleaning rod to push them out or not, maybe on one I did.

It was also czech surplus that I had a case head separation with in my 858. Ammo issue or dirty chamber? Combination of both? This required my cerrosafe casting the chamber to grip the remnants of the case and drive it out with a tight fitting dowel rod. As with my SKS I have not had an issue in years, dud rounds aside I have had no other notable stoppages with my shooter 858 and SKS. I expect similar results from my 81.

I own some really nice guns. Guns that I ask a lot more from then my Type 81 will ever give me.

However, in my 35 years of collecting firearms I have never known a gun to incite so much nonsense from those who claim to be disinterested then the Type 81.

It would seem that those on CGN who claim to not want a Type 81 have becomes more obsessed with them then those who actually like and own them. These Type 81 threads have proven one thing: The Type 81 is of serious interest!

I know what this rifle is and what it isn't and I am super stoked to be 1 of 1000 who own one.

So $500 rifle and $500 to join the elite club of owners? Love it.

Seems about right to me lol.

Careful though, membership could be doubling soon, maybe in Q1 of 2018 if TI is to be taken at their word that the next shipment will actually arrive when they say.

That's why people find it super fun to troll T81 owners. You guys get right pissed off when someone kills your buzz. Hence the title of this thread. Perhaps there are people jealous of you having 1 out of 1000 of something. 90% of people really don't care and they choose to entertain themselves knocking you guys down a peg or two. Just being real.

... and some guys like DILLIGAF are way too real about the whole thing it's halarous. And he is right... it's just another bullet hose. No more special than the next one.

You can pick any thread on this site, about any firearm. They will all feature the same themes for the most part.

There will be the "fanboys", complimented in turn by the "haters". And all the shades in between.

There will be exhortations that firearm "A" is superior to firearm "B", and rebuttals back.

There will be a lot of opinion and after winnowing through the posts, some nuggets of wisdom to be found. But mostly just trolling or mouthbreathers behind keyboards.

Non of it stops us from coming back for more though does it ;)
