Yes I have. And the 178 and the 212's. They were inconsistent so I tried them in a 300 wsm. And they were inconsistent as well.
I had similar issues with them in. 6.5/284, 7mag and a 270 win. Even with all the hype around the BC, I won't be buying them anymore.
 
I have used the 200 ELD-X in a 30-06.

Good accuracy in my rifle. I haven't killed anything with one however so can't comment on terminal performance.
 
208 eldm in my 30-06 shoot great. 162 eldx in my 7mm-08 shoot great as well even took them out to 1680 yards. They do blow around a bit that far away when then wind is 30-40km/h. The 180eldm (also shot in my 7mm-08) buck the wind a lot better

Edit: also shot the precision hunter ammo for 300 win mag when it was released. Shot phenomenally. Believe it was 200gr

I've shot the 22 cal 73gr, 6.5mm 143's, 7mm 162's, 30 cal 178, 30cal 200gr, 30cal 212gr and 338" 270gr. I find the ELD's easy to tune, great downrange flight. If you can't get an ELD to group, it's either too slow of a twist rate or you need to reevaluate how you develop handloads. I Haven't killed with them but did hunt last fall with the 162's in my 7saum but never pulled the trigger on anything. I'll be hunting with the 143gr in my 6.5 PRC this fall for deer

One of my favorite bullets these days for shooting. Maybe not the best hunting bullet for some situations
 
I have no problems getting Berger, Sierra, Barnes, Nosler etc to shoot from accurate rifles. The eldx have shot good groups. But gettting them to repeat these groups was the challenge.
The 143 eldx do work in my 260 rem, but that success is small considering how much powder I've burnt behind them in other rifles.
 
My experience is in a .308, not a .300WM, but seems to mirror what others have said.
I almost immediately found a nice and accurate load for the 178gr ELD-Match but have tried to do load development for the 178gr ELD-X twice now with no luck. For me this is a precision rifle and is far too heavy to take hunting so I have no issue with the ELD-Match but was disappointed I couldn't find a good load with the ELD-X. A friend of mine found a laser-accurate load with the ELD-X though so maybe the bullets are just picky which rifle they'll work in.
 
I found with the first 6.5 143 eld-x that came out they were inconsistent in both weight and bearing surface so I gave up and stayed with the bergers. Later I tried another box of the same but in the "new" shiny package and they way more consistent and I wasn't able to get good loads for a few different 6.5's

The 212 eld-x shoot great in my 300 win and use the same data as my 215 bergers way out there.

Not so lucky with the 178 eld-x in my 308 tikka tactical though. Tried loading them first without sorting. No luck. I then weighed them and further measured the bearing surfaces (yes sometimes I wonder why too) and sorted them. I was very careful with my charges and loading but still no dice.

The 147 eld-m shoot fantastic for though and I've just bought some lighter eld-m to try in the 6.5x47.

So my experience has been mostly positive but not with the first batches of the 6.5's. If you don't find a load with the 200's and your twist rate is 10 or faster maybe give the 212's a try. They shoot great for me
 
I have come to the opinion that Berger makes the best target/varmint bullet. Barnes makes the best big game bullet. And in between lives the Sierra, for lower velocity or other hunting.

Hornady is a marketing machine first. Bullet manufacturer second. It doesn't appear that they have made sweeping impact in the long range community even though they claim top BC's and accuracy. And they are going on 3 years of heavy marketing with this eld line. Bergers are more money, but money well spent considering the frustration of having an accurate gun act up due to the bullets.
 
I’m shooting 200gr eld-x out of my 300wm Sako 85 1-11 twist h4831 215 primers 15 tho off the lands almost going 2850fps. I Have only shot four 4 shot groups two at 200 and two at 400 yards all under moa.
 
I shoot 200gr ELDX in my 300wm. Shoot fantastic. Nosler Brass, Reloader 22, Rem 9-1/2 primer and Nosler brass. COL 3.337”. Shot a mule buck last year at 730 yards with the eldx and he went straight down.
 
Maybe I'm the anomaly but 200gr ELD X bullets have been the most accurate I've tried in my 300 WM Savage. I've only used 180gr AB, 190 and 210 Bergers, and 200gr ELD-X. I shot a 100m group in a gusty crosswind with literally zero vertical spread and 0.75" horizontal. And a 1.65" group at 300m on a calm day. Good enough for hunting with a stock Savage. I've been practicing at 600 lately and can keep vertical spread comfortably under 6" no matter how many shots I take at the same target. Gotta work on reading the wind. Some people say the ELD-X is a gimmick and the Accu-stock is a gimmick but those "gimmicks" work well for me. IMR7828SSC, Federal GM215M primers, Federal brass (primer pockets don't last past 3 loadings), 3.46" COL.

I've only once so far put an ELD-X into an animal. I shot a moose in the spine as he was heading uphill trying to get away after my brother shot him in the lungs. I wanted to keep him out of the trees. The moose dropped on the spot but the bullet disintegrated. 100 yard shot so the bullet was still travelling quite fast. Definitely take only shots/animals that are appropriate for a standard cup and core bullet. A Barnes, Partition, or bonded-core it is not!

No, I haven't. I was shooting Federal factory ammo before I started reloading. Plus I got a large amount of free Federal brass so I'm using it all up before I switch. I've done everything possible to make it work well - primer pocket uniforming, flash hole deburring, and weight sorting. I removed any brass that was significantly heavier or lighter but didn't get too picky. Less than 10% got culled for weight. No neck turning. I'll probably get Nosler brass next. FYI, my rifle does have an aftermarket recoil lug. The factory one was not flat so it made a noticeable difference.

Out of how many?
I don’t see these bullets being used by fclassers much. Because they’re not consistent.
