Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news and hope the dealer you ordered from doesn't ship with UPS.
My orders are stuck in a warehouse in Ottawa and Montreal.

I’m pretty sure it’s Canada post in my case but regardless it isn’t even transferred yet

March 20th approved May 27th private sale. Submitted my info to ombudsman questions this morning, I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

I also got a response from the ombudsmen, standard questions as others. I sent the info to them but nothing back yet. I dont expect it to change the transfer time in the short term but maybe in the long term. I think I am going to file a complaint for every transfer I do in Ontario that takes more than 48 hours. So in other words, I will complain on every transfer until its within a reasonable time frame which seems to be the case in other provinces. I dont care that Ontario is the largest, has the most transfers or whatever else they claim is the issue. If we are the largest, have the most etc. hire more people. This has been a problem as long as I have had a licence.

My transfers started April 16, I dont expect to see them for a few more weeks. I expect the ombudsmen to really just say that covid is the problem. But we all know that's just an additional problem to the already ridiculous waiting times.

It does look like they’ve picked up the pace a bit. Perhaps due to the large number of complaints. My March 23 was approved today May 28.
