The new NR NoDak Spud NDS 18SC

polymer or aluminum recievers?
ar15 bolt compatible?
ar15 barrels?
ar15 handguards?

I don't know any of this for sure, but I'm guessing the answers to your questions are:
Aluminum receivers. AR15 bolts are probably not compatible, since they have gas rings and there's no need for them on a piston system. AR15 barrels also may not be compatible, since I'm guessing the gas port for a piston gun is a different size than the port for a DI system, and also it looks like they use a different system (than an AR15 barrel nut) to mount the barrel to the receiver, which also means the handguards are likely not interchangeable. I'm basing this on this video, which is of the BRN 180 Gen 2 upper:

We will not be doing any short barreled versions. This rifle was approved after the OIC, if they were going to ban the rifle they would never have approved the rifle in the first place as a NON Restricted platform.
I feel like you maybe vastly under estimating the incompetency of goblermint bureaucracy.

For the moment, IRG has said only complete rifles in 223 Wylde NR will be sold. It is possible they may sell complete uppers in other cartridges, but nothing has been announced.

Where did they say 223 Wylde for a calibre?

Currently just 5.56... if we do other calibers we will make sure you can purchase just the upper so you will be able to swap them out or the complete rifle.

I searched and can't find IRG confirming calibre other than it being 5.56.

I believe the implication that it was made by PWS and very similar to the Brownell's BRN-180 led to the conclusion that it is 223 Wylde, given most PWS products are, and the BRN-180 upper is as well.
