X95 magazine that came with rifle is garbage!?

it seems you dont know what banter means cos they werent bantering.
i mentioned the $10 cos i cant makes sense of swapping over $10, it could be one cent for all they care. when it seems most everybody are getting the usa made mag and they were getting something else, they have the right to find out why.

Lol a dictionary is not hard to find illiterate dude, banter is another word for “conversation that is often light hearted”, that can include jokes or friendly ball breaking back and fourth.

Also, I was not bringing up your 10$ figure, I was stating that the cost difference between the two mags is in that range, and that the effort to resolve a $10 ordeal might not be worth it you are spending hours on the phone, writing emails and stressing out on the forum.

But if you think it’s worth it, who am I to say what one should do with their time.

so you read what it means . now go back and apply that meaning to what they were discussing. hint look for lol, haha, emojis of joking.

you still dont get it, this isnt about worth.

I just bought one from Bullseye last week. Came with the IWI bag, cleaning kit, and a duramag in plastic. The range bag isn't half bad to be honest.

Definitely a better rifle overall than the old tavors. Too bad mine already fell in the damn lake. I mean, it's like there's an octopus down there pulling guns out of my safe!!

I just bought mine from Bullseye as well. No manual and crap steel mag. The zipper on the case also jammed stuck on one side during my second outing.

Weird, I got the manual, tan canvas carrying case, promag magazine and the cleaning kit in it's own canvas pouch. I was pleased about the case, as the ones I saw online came in IWI brown cardboard boxes. The mag just went on the pile with the other metal mags, I haven't even opened it yet. Now I know the guys at the store fairly well, so if I was concerned about it I'd just go in or call them.

*Edit I do know what you're talking about with the zipper though, it catches on the one side if it opens all the way, it was a PITA to get it "unstuck" so I ran a safety pin through the zipper so that it can't travel that far. I'd forgotten about that until I just looked at the case. So likely the same case you have.

If it didn't work with gun they should've just made it right. Distressing it took 4 emails to happen.

I get there is a rush to get postings on sites and product out door, supplies are currently full retard, but an accurate description likely would have prevented all this.

Although I ordered Tavor 7, it just came with stainless steel Dura Mag 10/5 factory packaged. It has a factory dent for 5 rounds, no rivet. Not too bad. Manual, cleaning kit are in. Case is OK-ish. It is not IWI, or something fancy, but a cheapish Scorpio brand. At least it is a right size and still has room for the scope to be attached. No complains.

The old switcharoo..

Mine came with the IWI case, cleaning kit, manual, magazine.

The magazine was high quality, steel, and worked fine, pinned to 5, forget it's name. The case was a tad small as you couldn't have optics on the rifle and put it in the case. Bought mine from Red Deer Shooting Center.

Same experience, same items and same store :)

oh yeah, how reliable are these factory dent to 5 to holding 5? this is my first. sounds kinda funny. "my mags are dent to 5".

Has anyone else received an X95 from the latest order that came with a crappy chinese norinco knock off magazine in brown wax paper? I have reached out to the vendor and haven’t received a reply. The rivet is so large the magazine doesn’t even chamber and I guarantee IWI did not make this magazine nor is it STANAG.

Looking for anyone else who recently ordered to see if this is an isolated incident and no need to mention the vendor at this time.

Frustrating when you spend 2800 and get nickel and dimed on a basic component.

First I have heard of something like this with a dealer selling the Tavor rifles. Sad state of affairs imho!

If I paid close to 3 grand for a rifle and it came with anything less than it should (or anything lesser quality) I would be pissed.

Any dealers involved in swapping out the factory mags for some knock offs should be rightfully called out and shamed.

Agreed completely.

My dealer made it right and acknowledged the issue.

Glad to hear it, but if it were me I'd be putting that dealer on the do not deal with list OR watching them very closely wrt future deals...

I would be interested in knowing which dealer so I can conduct myself accordingly.

Cheers
Jay

Completely agree. I am happy to extol the virtues of ethnical moral dealers, but if in fact a dealer is switching a mag thinking that the buyer won't notice....I am glad you mentioned this because I am ACTIVELY looking for an X95 in 9mm (black, new) right now, and if I see that brown paper, I am not gonna be impressed. My dealer is very good though, and trustworthy, so I don't forsee and issue, but if others validate that theirs did not come in such wrapping and was a different type of mag, then yes, that type of unethical switching needs to be called out, at the very least to prevent others who shelled out a pretty penny from having the same unfortunate experience.
