Thanks! Still debating. Need very clean optic mount for this elegant lady ;)

Someone on Reddit is going to produce a completely reversible red dot mount that sits on top of the rear iron site. It looks pretty clean. I will search for my post about it later, but you may want to see if he's ready to sell them yet.

To be more specific, it's based on the old bakelite grip design. You either source a surplus bakelite or you find a composite repro (like that one). Personally my favorite sort of grip, I don't like the ones with individual finger channels (sometime called ergonomic grips), and the checkering on the side is nice. Ebay.ca usually have one or two being sold at any time (I checked, and yep there's one for 30ish piastres).

That's a very clean-looking LMG, my dude. Props. Also debating on putting a rail on mine. Either Murray's solution or nothing, at this point.

Cool! Is that wire stock off an East German or Romanian AK? And is whatever you did reversible?

I would also like to see how the VZ 58 stock was attached.

I got a vz stock adaptor and a T81 to vz adaptor. It's a 3d printed part, got it from foxstrap slings. It's a Canadian company, I found the guy through reddit. I bought the Polymer version, but haven't installed it yet. This will allow you to use a vz folding stock or buffer tube. You will have to purchase the VZ stock adaptor or folder separately. This is just adapting the lmg receiver to the VZ adaptor.

This is the product description.

The title says it all. This adapter allows you to use AR buffer tube stock adapters and folding stocks originally designed for the VZ58 with no permanent modifications to your firearm. The adapter is 3D printed in durable and impact absorbing filaments and your stock of choice is held in place firmly with a secure bolt and nut. The piece is then pinned in place through the original buttstock pin holes on the side using 4 small set screws.

Thank you. I will look into that!
