Only three cons that I found with the one I had. Apart from inflation adding $300 to the price in 2 years.
Buffer - way too light for a blowback PCC, and it's an ultra-cheap POS that shakes itself apart. The roll pins are well known to work their way out in 100-200 rounds. Spend $40 and put a H3 in, it makes a very noticeable improvement to the smoothness/felt recoil and reliability.
The charging handle is small and kinda crappy, and the improved one isn't worth buying. AR ones wont work. Nickk builds one for the fx9 that looks like a full size Raptor, not sure if he still makes them.
The springs in Glock mags are too weak to usually trip the bolt catch. Pretty much everything else worked fine though. Mine really didn't play nice with full 10rd Glock mags, first round often jammed. Had no issues with the bigger pinned mags.
Alot of us #####ed about our gen 1s, but nobody seems to complain about the new ones. Having spent a pile of time with other cheaper PCCs it's still the best you can get under $1400 IMO. Way better ergonomics than the Ruger and JRC.
Now, taking the risk of spending $1400 with our communist government in control is entirely up to you. The Liberals want total disarmament, so your bolt guns and pellet guns aren't safe either.
