They are nice guns but that is craziness.
From memory they were around half that much before Lloyd Trudeau started his latest round of foolishness.
Awww man. I was just about to post that one.
I especially like the sob story about never being able to buy another.
Tough luck kid, we all go through harsh times but those are the breaks.
Are any Glocks actually selling for anywhere near this price?
Doubtful, every day there are new ones popping up at dealers.
Two observations:
1. Seems like a lot of newbies are the ones asking x3 or x4 times retail.
2. Seems like BC boys out in Richmond think guns are like houses and they can ask a million above market. Go figure.
Greater Fool theory in effect here. More restrictions coming. Reality here is that anyone buying a pistol must fully accept the risk of it becoming a paperweight as did ARs. I hope this does not come to pass but hey I haven’t shot a pistol for 10yrs till recently. Asking for thousands more above retail is people looking to transfer that risk at premium which, despite whatever sob story, is nonsense.

I don't know whether the prices are funnier or the stories that go with them.
Tenda sold out of basic G22s at $1350, so people are paying higher prices, but I can't see people paying $3K for a G19.

Sorry honey, I know it was a mistake and I want to sell it, but the government has banned all transfers, and they say I have to keep it now....
I can sorta understand the urge to drop up to 1500 for a standard Glock especially if I didn't own one and was scrambling for it but above that is too much IMO. Glad I managed to snag one from PR on the weekend. Locally CSC had some this morning but now all gone. Could have saved on shipping but I'm satisfied nonetheless.

I was thinking about how much it would take for me to part with my dream pistol (92x performance) if I could never own it again and I think the answer is 3k, so I kinda get it, if his claim that it's the only handgun he will ever have is true. Though I'd only consider selling it if I couldn't afford my kids' tuition or something.

2k for a canik rival unfired on #######...asked guy what the best offer was that he has got...told me he had 2 traded one for a nice revolver and hadn't got an offer yet on the second one. Told him he just confirmed he was one of the #### heads trying to make a profit off this situation. How many new unfired guns mostly glocks are on ####### right now...people that want them can't get them for retail because the clowns who think they can profit from them are buying them up. On a side note prior to all this I bought a rival for retail and a glock and 3 others...
