Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Most places in the valley would be no more than a 4 hour drive to get there. My last one is in Alberta. If I had only four hours to drive I'd be on the road weather permitting.

From my house it’s a 4 1/2 hour drive 1 way. And with the cost of gas and needing to drive through Algonquin park I am willing to wait the extra week for shipping. It would be a bit different if I had next week off but I need to work

Anybody else picking up accessories and ammo while they wait for their transfers?

I just got 5 magazines delivered yesterday for the 1911 I’m waiting for. I’ve also got 250 rounds of 44 magnum on its way for the S&W model 29 I bought at auction to clear.

Yup. Three spare mags, a few hundred rounds of 9mm in various bullet weights and a holster. I was thinking about ordering a replacement trigger and sights but decisions on those will wait until after the pistol arrives.

Picked up an additional 4 mags back in September. I’ve already made up a quick ladder test to see how many grains of powder the new pistol likes

Also was looking up better red dot sights last night

Our hard earned tax dollars working OT today.

I got B2P transfers initiated on July 15, 17 and 18th all approved today, on Dec 10th. Wolf's chart is basically right on the money for me.

Interesting, did they come in together? Might that be a batch transfer maybe?! Also you mean July right?

Good question. Oops. Yes, July and will edit original post. There was a batch transfer involved.

I got two approval emails today.

First email contained 1 transfer number for July 17th.

2nd email contained 2 transfer numbers for July 15 and 18. They were from same dealer.

Lucky I guess. I have bought from other dealers on different dates and did not get batched. It would be great because I have a few initiated in July to August from same dealer.

Any of the numbers higher than 59707**?

Yup. mags and red dots for all. Also bought a few rim-fire rifles as project guns.
Bought some oddball (to me) rimfire magnum ammo when on sale.
