Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I wonder how slow. According to the chart, today is the day for my very first! I'm so excited. Been waiting 5 months 2 weeks exactly! Fingers crossed.:)

Yes you will get a new card with a .000x version number along with updated restrictions on the paper it is glued to. Do not be a fool and throw out that piece of paper out as someone I know did and now is waiting until the rest of his transfers clear to get that card updated which will probably take weeks or even months.
I though you didn't have to carry that piece of the paper, and as long as you kept possession of it you were fine? Am I incorrect in only keeping that in my safe instead of with me while transporting them to/from the range?

I keep the original copy in my safe and keep photocopies of all my certificates in my range bag

Why would labour day long weekend provide the jump, pardon my lack of wrinkles.

They would likely not be working/taking in transfers that weekend, or very few. Transfer submitted Friday would get in, but Sat/Sun would be minimal, and Monday was holiday.

You need to carry it (original or photocopy) with you when transporting your restricted firearms. DO NOT keep it in the same case as your firearm(s) as you would need to present it to a police officer upon request and cannot open your transport case roadside.

Have originals laminated and in range bag. Also have images of each registration on my phone and computer so can reprint as needed.

Good point! My range bag has a small folder in the one pocket for paperwork. It is in the same lockable pocket that my guns go into. Chances are pretty minimal getting pulled over and asked for it but will look for an alternate location in the future.
