Favorite rimfire ammo?

Mini mags for just about everything except my 453. It likes American eagle. Never had a failure to fire in either cartridge

For .22lr… Remington target and Lapua SK match red box shoot same holes at 50yd. cci subsonic comes a close second and blaser does exceptionally well. My preference for all is 40gr. All tested in multiple firearms.

17hmr in the cz457 - Remington magnum 17gr is by far the most accurate over all other tested ammo including Cci, Hornady and Winchester

I just picked up some of my preferred 17HMR ammo. CCi Gamepoint 20 grain. Prices are starting to reflect the border. Did a little tour of the reloading bullets while at Bass Pro. While the available stock has started to diminish in quantity the prices are increasing dramatically for some items. Cheers

I don't shop B-ass Pro except my wife likes their Fudge. And even that is TOO EXPENSIVE ! ! Buying ammo for me is usually thru a Sponsor that has free shipping. You can always get a couple people together to buy $300 worth, it doesn't amount to a lot of 'bullets'. A half dozen boxes of a few bricks of 22lr and you get MUCH better pricing.

Out of respect for those that gave you those gifts you should spend them sooner than later. I have several friends who work for my Local Bass Pro.
I also hunt and fish with the old owner and the now manager of my local hunting store. I don't feel guilty for buying what they can't get me at another store. Either way I support my local first. Even if it costs me more. I purchased the T Bolt stainless 17HMR that likes that ammo from my local hunting store even though I could have got it a year sooner for less money elsewhere. Just sayin, go get a sugar high and some ammo before it's too late to get value for your friends money. They will be happy you spent it right? Cheers

Also what shoots well in 1 person's gun, may not shoot worth sh!t in yours. Take Tac 22 for example. Meroh had great results with his CZ and it. I've yet to have a gun that shoots it great.

Was out at 100, with Tac 22 in my 10/22 Target Lite. First shot just left of bull for my sighter. So switched to my target after loading a round topping it up to 10 rds. Fired and hit 4 inches low, and the remanding 9 shots hovered low. With a good spread of 3inches.

While just previously shooting Eley Sport and much better groups. But still nothing less than 2"

For gopher shooting my go to is bulk Winchester HP. We go through a lot of ammo and while not match grade accuracy it is still minute of gopher accurate. As far as ultimate accuracy I have got the best results from RWS R50. Most expensive does not mean most accurate, still have to see what your particular gun likes. My BRNO .22 prefers regular Eley match than the more expensive Tenex. Have also got very good accuracy in my Anschutz 1411 from SK long range, on par with R50.
