Your on a roll gazelle!
I seem to recall someone saying their might have been some small improvements with the stock on the newer plus trails.
Don't leave us hanging.... how much?
A little over $1400 all in. Remember, this is the Gen 2 (600+), not the regular one. Some retailers are having it as $1599.99 plus tax. Some have it discounted at $1399.99 plus tax. I pretty much got better pricing as I bought something from them last week (also at a better price than anywhere else). I am glad there is somewhere cheaper than Tenda.
I am very glad I bought this one instead of the original. I know sometimes subsequent generations aren't better but I already like the stock better. Plus did I mention I got a great deal on it?
I got great satisfaction buying it, completing another transaction with them, since there some threads with unsubstantiated claims that the company may not even be real. Of course the people say that never visited the place nor talked with the owner. Not only did I talk with the owner on the phone, made an appointment to go into the storefront (which really is just a unit with a warehouse in an industrial area), both products I bought were new, retail packaged, complete with all accessories, in mint condition (being new) and I met the owner at the store and bought it in person both times.
It is a one person operation, so doing up the invoice/receipt comes a bit later. I am fine with that.
I suspect I will get more better pricing the more I buy - but with a wedding in less than 2 months, my wallet is running dry. I am selling my old sports cards and toy and comic collections as well as an assortment of ammo I don't shoot and some old guns to fund this last foray into gunnie shopping spree madness.
It is a very small outfit, not your typical gun store like Tenda or FOC or Al Flaherty's, but for a one person outfit, she keeps her overhead small, and end customers get the savings. She has some helpers an an gunsmith who visits every 2 weeks to work on anything needed. Believe me, I am very critical of businesses, but I am also critical of reading rumours and such - would rather experience dealing with a retailer myself rather than going by hearsay.
Her (Alla) and her company (Canfirearm) will be at the Toronto Sportsmen's Show this coming weekend.
(and no, I am not affiliated with them in any way other than being a repeat customer)
