Very good choice. My friend bought his sone a .308. They are very light and the action is sooooo smooth. They look like a toy but in action are very easy to get off a quick shot.I'm considering getting one in .243 left handed for my youngest lad to use.
So I've been thinking of getting a ss varmint for awhile now but here's a question;
when you get a stainless one out of the plastic, are the hidden parts stainless as well?
Thanks

Come on 303Carbine, anything will "fall" if you take it out of the stock with out support, plastic or wood. Guns cannot defy gravity last I checked.
Perhaps you meant to type "fail"??
Thanks for your enlightening bits of wisdom, no really.
Short mag length - are they that problematic or were you trying to seat bullets right out?I've had 3 of them, sold them due to the short mag length and the inline feeding...

And did yours tend to feed badly?
The CZ has the same problem with detachable mags so I always buy spares unless its an internal only model!Not much play room, you pretty much are stuck with factory OAL. I found with partitions, the noses were getting pinched while inserting the mag, even while doing it carefully...
The inline fed mag annoys me in that you have to take the mag out to put another shell in it. IMO its an inferior system compared to my Sako mag, which is staggered and can be topped up through the action.
Other than that, I liked the 3 I had, and I don't mind the plastic...
The T3 Lite Stainless in 30-06 is a fantastic shooter. Seriously accurate gun, you would not be disappointed.
unless you don't like recycled barbie dolls, then you might be disapointed
they put :matel: on the sides of T3's yet?
BUT= The gun that no one will ever say will not shoot.
They do look like toys but they have the smoothest actions Ive ever seen. Remmys and Savage are stiffies.....................can't argue with that. Light, accurate and cheap as hell looking.
