(c) a device or contrivance designed or intended to muffle or stop the sound or report of a firearm,
(d) a cartridge magazine that is prescribed to be a prohibited device, or
(e) a replica firearm;
No. A thing attached to the end of the barrel that reduces the noise is a prohibited device. You can finesse the language all you like, the enforcement is straightforward.so would that make a bolt buffer on a 10/22 a prohibited device?
Sorry, i jacked this thread. Just curious since i seen a picture with one on. And it got me thinking.
If only we could see the actual FRT that has been or will be issued for the Umarex, all doubts would be put to rest once and for all...

Have there been any reviews of this rifle yet? I'm wondering if anyone can vouch for the accuracy and function?
well my local canadian tire told me they have some of these on order and they have been told they are non restricted... i always chat to the guy in there and he said "ive got just the .22 for you coming soon"
they ordered them at some gun show in edmonton last week or something...
dont know how much store to set in this... but who knows... maybe they are non res...
