so how is it that a small shop in a small town seems to have gotten the best of the bunch?
I happened upon this forum during my search for an SKS. I've found a store with refurbished ones, but it sounds like there's still a stock of unissued's left. How would I go about getting one from Moving Target?
Got mine the other day, Iam really impressed! Its the nicest one in my flock now
Thanks ED
I just called them and placed the order. They said it was unissued, but not pristine. I hope that means nothing more than just a few scratches on the stock. Also, are these ones covered in cosmoline?
D: you will post some pics later ?
I was chatting with my favorite bartender last week and I told him about the beautiful SKS I received from Moving Target.
He wanted one so I gave him Ed’s phone number and he ordered one.
Well, I stopped by the pub for a pint yesterday after work and he told me he received his rifle.
He said it was mint, not a mark on it, all matching serial numbers, but he wanted to know what the diamond with an arrow in it meant.
You mean a diamond or a triangle, oh I guess its a triangle he says.
I almost had a heart attack.
Triangle with an arrow!!!!!
That’s what I asked Ed for weeks ago, but he said he didn’t have any when he phoned me.
I told my friend he was a very fortunate fellow and to take a couple photos of his rifle and email them to me today.
I just received his very fuzzy photos, the silly new Canadian immigrant, that’s not a triangle, it’s called a star.
Alls right with the world again.
Heres the ones I picked up from Moving Target. I had ordered refurbs as i thought they were out, but they called me back and they had Unissued ones. All the numbers match. Excellant condition. Have only fired the bottom one. Years from top to bottom are 1953, 1954, 1954, unknown and 1954. All Tula's.
Edgar and the other fellow at MT were great to deal with and I recommend em highly.
