Is it normal that my gun has been sitting at Vancouver's post office since 3 days..?

It also says it is shipped via Expedited USA...something wrong there..

I have to say the most disgusting thing that I saw this morning at the Calgary Gun Show, was someone selling one of these $99 pistols for $339 "brand new"

it even had the serial number written on the box flap, like all the ones I've bought from CanAm

If the old guy with the white beard whos booth it was happens to see this, no I dont feel bad at all that I told everyone looking at your table that your $339 pistol can be purchased from canadaammo.com for $99. Charging more than tripple the price is just plain dishonest.

Typical gun show exhibitor mentality. They seem to think people who attend gun shows are not aware of gun values. This guy is really trying to hose his customer. :kickInTheNuts:

Good for you, regarding your informing people of the price through CanAm :D

Well my 2 new pistols are on their way to Ontario to their new home, Left friday. cant wait to get my hands on them. Alot faster then I expected to get these, Pretty sure its been way less then a month since I ordered these. I ended up calling the CFO cause I noticed stupid me filled out the wrong gunclub info so I called them to corrected it, and the guy asked me if these were my first handguns so I said yeah, and he told me that he would try to get it all done as fast as he could for me since they havent even gotten a chance to look at mine since they have been so busy, and the next day I got the email from CanAm saying they were shipped....... Thanks CanAm for bring these pistols in, as well as the CFO for acutally helping me out for once!

Ok guys since these are my first handguns what should I get for them? I know theres not much to do with them or get for them, but there must be some stuff. I picked up 2 combo trigger locks, 2 packs of 9mm snap caps, 2 boxes of ammo, and im deciding between the PLANO two pistol/accessory case, or a pelican case. Anything else you guys can think of? dont really care if ill use it or not since my dad is picking up the bill for the pistols and the accessories, since these are my first handguns. (which doesnt make sense since he hates firearms, maybe Im starting to get at him about him, finally maybe another shooter in the family)

Heavens yeah. That won't even break them in nicely.

Go see if you can find a deal on a case or at least 500. Typically you can find cases of 1000 for a decent price break if you shop around.

I went through 1000 in my first two months with my new Shadow which was my first gun. And it's not like I was going nuts out there or anything.

I tend to go to gun shows to look, not to buy. The prices are out of this world.

How about some cleaning accessories? The sloted cleaning rod that comes with the pistol can come in handy, but you'll want complete kit to take care of your baby. Get a large bag of patches on top.

2 boxes of ammo? 100 rounds thats only 10 mags. You need more ammo buddy. I usually have 2k rounds for every handgun I own. That way I only need to top up every 1k or 1.5k rounds through each one.

2 boxes ??
my son and I went with 2 boxes of ammo, thinking of a nice afternoon of shooting
15 min later we went looking for more. 2k per gun with a 12yrold.

My second M213: full of surprise

I got my second 213 two weeks before and bring it to the range last Wednesday. Surprise!! This one shot better than my first one, 100 rounds, no FTF or FTE, smooth and accurate. My friend try some rounds, same response, "What? $99"

Just beware of the pin holding the extractor, it will loosen a bit and need to hammer it back after shooting the first time. Then it will stay.

I put 2 boxes of 124 gr. factory loads through it. Function was 100%, trigger was very nice, and accuracy was better than expected. I tended to shoot it low and to the right, but still could get into the black if I focused on the basics.

I have one question however. I think the slide may be hitting the frame on recoil. When I took it down to clean it, the barrel didn't want to come easily out the front of the slide. It seems that the metal had 'grown' at that point where it might contact the frame. I could push the barrel through, and 2 swipes with a fine file removed the problem. I'm just wondering if this will continue to be a problem. Does it need a stiffer recoil spring? If so, where do I get one?

Personally I would save up your money and buy the gun you really want. Just the thought of buying a $100 hand gun makes me nervous.... lol I wouldnt wanna shoot it haha

Sorry, guy. The Tok is pretty much the pistol I want. The reason it is so inexpensive is not in the slightest that it is cheaply made. The pistols are very strong. I had over 55,000 rounds through one of mine. Never any problems, it always went "BANG" when I pulled the trigger. I've even converted a Tok to fire the 9x23 Winchester, the ballistic twin of the 357 Magnum. If the pistol can hold up to 50,000 CUP, I have no doubt they can handle the puny 9x19 Luger without a problem.
The Chinese are not particularly noted for paying their workers well, that part of the cost is negligible. This load of pistols was the Chinese cleaning out the pistols they are prohibited from selling in the United States, basically dumping the pistols since they couldn't sell them to their intended market. Our loss is your opportunity. If they could have sold them here I would have been all over them at twice the price.

I agree and I don't even have my license yet.

I thought my cousin was insane when he stocked 2k of ammo. We burned all that within a week. However, we went shooting almost everyday. He was waiting for me to come visit him in Cali.

Ammo sure does at up if someone shoots a lot. In the long run, the gun itself is really cheap, even if it's $1k. I'm considering reloading 9mm but I don't know if savings is that good. May just end up shooting more rounds for the same amount of $$$ spent buying factory. Still good if savings is significant and I get to shoot more. :)

Hey Guys! Great News Just Recieved My 2 Pistols!!! Love Them So Far, Except Canada Post Just Left Them At My Front Door! Which Pissed Me Off!
