Something else to consider is adding a Ruger 10 round or the MWG 50 round magazines to an airsoft Tommy magazine body.
The outside of the airsoft mag is thin sheet metal with a cool looking winder.
The mag body is easily opened and the plastic airsoft drum inside can be removed to make room for the 10 or 50 round mags.
Downside is the bodies are not sold separately, the retail price down here is $50.

I am glad you are happy with the final product. I hope everyone who bought a kit will be as pleased with it. Its been a long haul to get it to this point and I have endeavored to make it as flawless as possible. But with all first run products there are little things that we have found that we would like to do better and we will. So it's on to the second run hopefully starting next week.
I anticipate completion by end of October so keep an eye open to Fabsports. As a matter of fact, because we sold out so quick on our first run Fabrice is taking reservations on the second batch. So if you are keen on getting a Thompson kit for your 1022 it would be a good idea to let Fabsports know so they can put your name on one.
