Funny you should ask. I just sent another shipment to FabSports last week and it includes the new vertical grip and the 1927 rear sight cover. We still haven't made any new trigger covers to fit the drum mags as we haven't found any drum mags that actually work very well. It would however be a simple thing to alter the trigger covers to fit a drum mag if you own one. It just means removing about 1/8" of aluminum from the leading edge of the trigger cover and your all set. A file or a small band saw would do that very easily.
I almost forgot. We also have some short (10") finned barrels coming in for the Thompson. I was playing with the prototype three weeks ago and it had looked fabulous.

Those finned barrels look great, but how do we attach the slip on muzzle break to the threaded end of the barrel? Do you have a pic of the assembled kit with the short barrel installed?

It's muzzles made for this barrel, I take pictures soon I can, very busy, gun show yesterday and I open the store to the public next month

That's the slip-on brake for the factory barrel that comes with the main kit that you're thinking of.
I see Fabrice now has the brake for the threaded end of the finned barrel on the site for an additional $25. Order sent.

does the receiver housing offer any support at all for the barrel?

The forend applies a bit of upward pressure to the bottom of the barrel, which should alleviate any embarrassing droopy barrel issues.
I finally received my 10/22CCR yesterday!
I really like the look of this kit, BIG thanks for John for making this a reality!

Definitely recommend the short barrel, as it really finishes the look. Apologies for the crapola pictures, they really don't do this superb kit justice.
