Right after I took those pics I took the Sparc off and put my Aimpoint Comp M2 on it. The Sparc doesn't co-witness very well or have a QD base. I have a QD ARMS mount for the Aimpoint so the lack of co-witness is less important.

I'm enxiously waiting for my Restr. VZ 58 to finish transfer, i got a great tacticool plan for it... you guys will see it soon..

with a Galil stock and a Burris FF sitting on a NEA upper, i find it very hard to aim, really have to bend the neck out... and squize the cheek hard against the stock... in order to see the dot clearly in the center... so a little riser wouldnt hurt, specially when there is no co-witness any way...

I thought that Galil stock looked pretty tall.

I am pretty sure the rail and optic block the sight picture through the irons. Correct me if I am wrong.

Here's mine.
All I did so far is add a single-point sling plate and a Ambi-safety. And pick up a couple of short mags. I think they look sooooo much better on the long barreled non-res vz's

There looks to be a slot underneath the riser that perhaps one can see through...thats why I asked.
