Check this pic out then his rifle is a T/C Contender carbine in 22LR OAL = 26 3/8" and he had to have it when we took the pic so he could be one of the guys...
Great pic CC! I've been waiting for XCR-M. If and when they're good to go I plan on getting one to hunt with. Had hoped to use a shorty Norc but still waiting for my Krieger barrel before shipping it all to M14Doc for his conversion.

When I look at my XCR-L all I see a very expensive low powered hunting rifle...

That is a lot of fun too shoot... and the low recoil is great even my wife is starting to shoot it... other than my Browning BL22 22LR rifle that she shoots this is fast becoming her favorite rifle.

Off the bench with Norinco ammo 2"-3" five round groups at 100 (It depends more on me than the rifle). All five easily on a 8.5X11 piece of paper free hand. The three point sling really steadies up my shooting. It's better than the grouping I get with my 30/30.
I'm going to pick up some of the MFS the ammo source has in to see how it does. I'm down to my last 1000 of the Norinco soft point.

NEA AR railed stock adapter with a NEA Cantilever mount. It really does seem to hold zero when I take it off for cleaning.

Update... In two days of hunting with my Tavor I only saw one small doe... No doe tag... No deer for me...
I did however learn something about the Tavor, after many repeated rechamberings of the same cartridge, upon returning to camp after the evening hunt & unloading, I noticed that the 64 grain PowerPoint was driven into the casing...
So, to all you guys out there with factory ammo being run through the Tavor, buy a factory crimp die & crimp the cartridges you intend to put through the Tavor.
I don't know what might have happened if I'd pulled the trigger on that cartridge, other than knowing the pressures spike when this situation presents itself...
So, anyone else get lucky with their Non-PC rifle out hunting?

Well are deer are so big in Sask a .223/556 will just bounce off them. For you guys out east who have small deer I can see why you would choose the .22 cals

Just got back tonight from a 9 day hunt had an LEH anterless mule deer tag after finding and setting up camp my little guy and I headed out on the ATV with the XCR-L in 6.8 SPC + 95gr TTSX we spotted two does about an hour later.
We were able to get up to within 80 yards I aimed for the top of the neck/base of head deer dropped instantly with a broken spine...
So for me the count is now 2 mule deer and these are most likely the first deer shot in Canada with the XCR-L/6.8 SPC/95gr TTSX combo...
Sorry no pic of the deer I had left the camera in the truck only pic I have is it wrapped up in the blue tarp as I am packing up to head out to drop it off at the butcher.
Only thing is both deer dropped instantly on the first shot so I'm now wondering why I need a semi auto for hunting when I could be using one of my single shot T/C Contender carbines yeah yeah whose foolling who I need a semi...

My dog is a girl so potentially doesn't like much of anything other than food...
and the funny thing about the rifle is I have not met one guy and I have met some major fudds while I have been out hunting this year that didn't like it or want to give it a try and everyone wanted to talk about it.
It is definitely a conversation piece especially like yesterday morning the fellow had a Sako Finlight that he was making sure I saw until I showed him the XCR-L and his Sako was not mentioned again...
