Browning Hi-Power. They fit well in smaller hands. The CZ75 does too - but I don't like shooting it - YMMV

Pick up a Colt 1911 - I love shooting them - and they feel great in the hand. (I didn't need anything in a .45 - too expensive to feed.)

I tried H&K P30L this morning (in .40mm tho). Our poor friend still cursing me for waking him up at 7 am and later drag his ass to the range to try his gun... :p I LOVED it!

And then it hit me! What to do? I have to choose only one!!!

Well, not anymore! My dear husband told me that he likes the idea to own BOTH guns! It's just logical to him to have one gun in 9mm and one gun in .45ACP!!! God, I love this man!!!

The P30L is my favourite polymer gun period. Excellant choice, what version of the trigger did you use?

I like the DA/SA version alot more than the LEM trigger.

Same as mine and the best choice of the options I think. Mine is a 9mm and it is such a soft shooter, very good gun for rapid shooting.

GLOCK ARE NOT BAD LOOKING. I personelly like how glocks look. But by far 1911 are the ###iest guns you can get. I would recommend STI or Springfield due to Cost to Quality Ratio. You get more bang for your buck. There is nothing ###ier than a 1911 with some awesome grips on them.

If I was choosing a handgun for my wife I would go with Sig P239. It has elegant lines, will fit smaller hands well and is on sale at Questar.

AWOL AND ACM you both hurt my glocks feelings. I don't like how sigs and the beretta m92 and 92fs looks. I love how my gen 4 g17 looks. Maybe i am wierd and even a little crazy but i prefer the looks of my gen 4 g17 over most hand guns EXCEPT 1911s and some revolvers.

But AWOL is right beauty if int he eyes of the beer holder or beholder lol.

My vote would go to a 1911 but with some specifics. I don't like lots of make up on a woman or too much bling. To me that eliminates some of the popular brands particularly those with "billboard" slides. I like understated elegance. This is my NightHawk; not within the budget but you will get the idea.
