It's not worth arguing theres no changing your guys mindset, but atleast parts don't fall off when I operate my gun.
The AR is your countries service rifle, every man worth their weight should know how to operate one.
CANADA hand one of the best rifels of all times it was the fnc1 I know I was in the CANADIAN FORCES when they switched to the pea shooter ar and everyone was pissed CANADA only purchased it because it fired a nato 223 round or as we call it super .22 US soldiers hated the m16 in veitnam it was inadequate and still is today for most combat operations that is why the US has been toying with the idea of replacing the ar and its not going to stop. the XCR is a great rifel its unrestricted and has multi cal options that for a hunter is the best part, one rifel for all needs I own the newer model of the XCR and have had no problems with it in the least and like I said no screws have ever came lose or fell out.It seems weird that people that have never owned one have so much bad to say about the XCR way long before ROB ARMS artical that offended all the ar guys that would never buy one but would rather play with a ristricted super .22 at the range what a joke!
I know when I clean all my other guns, I make sure all the nuts and bolts you never have to remove aren't coming loose.Between pages 25 to 30 of the XCR's operator's manual, under the heading of "CLEAN, INSPECT, LUBRICATE", it highlights various bolt and parts that needs to check every time you clean, it even show photos of parts that they are talking about.
So with no offense to the OP, but it is time to brush up on your regular cleaning and maintenance routine.![]()
MORPHEUS 32: CANADA follows what the US do and always have the US have brought m14 out of mouthballs because of the ARs not being effective in manny situations and when you stand alone you need a weapon that will deliver the punch. I am sorry but the c7 in 556 is not the best choice in my opinion.I must say I do respect your opinion to.
it is not necessarily the weapon, it is the cartridge that is the problem from what I can gather.
after owning a .223 i can see why. an intermediate round would be ideal, for me maybe a 6.8 spc would do the trick. I actually prefer the 7.62's oomph but I like the trajectory path of the .223.
There is no issue with the 223. As I said, this is internet fodder for debate but not an issue with troops actually doing the fighting and carrying the AR/5.56 into harms way...don't you think that says it all? Not an issue for the troops in combat...issue for people in Canada on the internet.....just a thought...
I know when I clean all my other guns, I make sure all the nuts and bolts you never have to remove aren't coming loose.
