A taurus judge .410 would be excellent for grouse and other small targets of opportunity, especially convenient for getting some fresh dinner when working/fishing/big-game hunting in the bush.
a 416 rigby would be awesome too...... but i doubt i could hold onto the fricken thing for even the first shot LOL
I would use a .22 for grouse.
It makes sense to me to allow handguns to be used for hunting. They are tools that should be used for more than punching holes in paper.
my new S&W 629 5" .44Mag would see action when calling bull moose into handshakin' range![]()
Good example of a situation a rifle would be hard to bring to action. That's a great example of how handy a side arm would be when hunting. How many people have shot a Moose/Deer/Elk etc. and had it down but not dead. Get up close and try to aim a scoped rifle at the head is harder than one would think and often ends with multiple shots and meat loss due to poor placed shots. A hand gun would work great.
It would be great if we could hunt with a handgun. Only problem would be booking another week off work for the hunt.
Taurus raging judge for this guy
No kill like overkill
So far a fun thread with some ###y hand cannons, keep it commin people.![]()
I think it's funny, and would think it was more funny if you didn't' add a qualifier...![]()
