I am impressed with the number of quarter to half minute rifles that can be purchased. I wasn't aware that there were so many out of the box opportunities.
I'm very skeptical about out of box 1/4 MOA rifles since no manufactures that I know of give such a warranty and the performance warranties that I've read are all 1/2 MOA average for 5 shot groups.
Also, this year 200yards Light Varmint Supershoot aggregate was something like 1/9-1/10 MOA shot by the benchrest shooters using the best equipment, but Eric Stecker managed a 0.05" group at 100 yards but didn't win the aggregate.
My point is this: one tiny 3 shot group does not mean that a rifle can shot 1/2 MOA aggregates even less 1/4 MOA aggregates. I haven't run a simulation but I guess that 1 out of 30 groups will be extraordinary small (and 1 out of 30 groups will be twice that average size!).

Thanks for all the feedback friends. I have checked my local gunshop and they can get the Savage 110BA in .338 LM in 4-6 weeks and the cost is 2,340 + taxes. How much does the Sako TRG cost?
Stay calm and don't forget that the TRG42 is not the most practical target or hunting rifle in the world.
TRG42 on special at Wolverine 3800$ right now!
I did a quick price check and it's 3500$ MSRP on Berretta USA's website.

"What makes it less practical than any other 338 et al that is used for hunting"
Weight, balance, mass, length. It may work for certain types of hunting, but would be a poor choice for a general purpose tool. I know, now 14 guys will weigh in with "I hunt with my 27 pound 6 ft long ultra super-duper whizz bang euro mag with no problem, you're a pussy". Guess I am. I don't pound nails with a chainsaw either. - dan
