Well, nobody's out any money.
And we couldn't have gotten them faster, anywhere else.
Just a little disapointing, but they'll get here.

I want them to get here just as fast as everyone else does :)

On another note the KRISS rifles are coming in the next few days along with another skid of ISSC's.

21 pages into this thread and no delivery date on NP29s yet. The pre-order sure sold in a hurry though (that depends if you carefully watched the changing numbers of "in stock" over the weeks). I'm also sure that everyone has tagged this thread for updates about the wonderful NP-29s that they pre-ordered almost 4 months ago. Wonderful updates like this:

I'm still waiting as well. As I have said before, I will post when I have more info. Remember spare mags are on the website now for people with pre orders.

Has anyone checked next weeks forcast? I just did and it is showing lots of sun with a good chance of NP29's :)

customer..............

I have now been in your store twice and have been told on both occasions that you will not take the trigger lock off for me to hold and purview the firearm.

Sadly this cost you $$$$$$$$$$$ as I just ordered both firearms elsewhere................just two of many more to come........................

I know and have met the owners at the IDPA Provincial Championships this year and both are pleasant............................

BUT HOW DOES ONE BUILD CUSTOMER REPOR, RESPECT, TRUST AND ULTIMATELY A RELATIONSHIP IF A CUSTOMER CANNOT EVEN INSPECT THAT WHICH THEY WISH TO PURCHASE..................................

SADLY I HAVE NOW DRIVEN ALL THE WAY FROM OTTAWA TWICE.........................WITH POOR RESULTS AT BEST............

If the store isn't busy I usually will or I'll take the person to a separate section of the store. The problem is I had an idiot in the store as few months ago...not referring to you. I started that policy a few months ago when that person pulled a 9pm round out if their pocket while handling a gun.

I can certainly understand why you'd institute such a policy as a result. But as mentioned it is going to put off a LOT of people. Instead I like your idea of allowing inspection over at a special place where the teller can be in close proximity to an "unknown" customer during such an inspection and react suitably to such idiocy. Having an "inspection area" would also contain the amount of random muzzle waving that is oterwise so prevalent in crowded stores. A rather large sign could be posted at this inspection area with something simple that grabs the eye like "NO HANDLING OF AMMO IN THIS AREA FOR ANY REASON"

And what part of this sign or a special area of supervison to react to idiocy that you are recommending will actually prevent a person from loading a round into the chamber of a pistol? That's right....nothing.

In this case, the store owner is looking to mininmize the risk to him and his staff. Seems more than reasonable that their safety should come first. If people are put off by a trigger lock on a pistol I would say they are welcome to go somewhere else.
