They are all like that.

I think I'm hanging mine on the wall. Fired two mags through it perfect and got all excited. Then every single round after that was a fail to eject.

Ok, so I had my fist real problem with mine today. The back of the firing pin broke in half, still works but its not the same you know :p Anyone got a spare? Know if 870 one will fit?

Failure to Eject

Mine works perfectly expect with cheap ammo.

When I shoot with Remington ammo, 18$ for 25 shells: everything works fine and they eject very well.

When I shoot cheap 6.50$ for 25 shells Winchester, they all fail to eject.

The extrator does not seems to bring back the shell from the tube.

The Remington ammo has a longer metal part on the shell VS the winchester that is much shorter. I don't know if that could be it?

Mine died on the weekend. Fired a couple shells then just completely seized. Had to disassemble it to unload it. Any body want to buy a parts gun? Post of the parts seem to be fine, the action bars are bent but, everything else seems more or less okay.

Norinco, made in china.

I have one that dry fires just fine- I haven't even cleaned off the gunk or tried loading it... Went camping this weekend and decided to take my Mossberg instead because I know I can rely on it every time. If anybody wants to take my 780 off my hands for what I paid for it pm me!

That was quick- sold it for what I was into it for in a few hours! They made it crystal clear in the description what we were getting into with these shotguns (as-is, probably needs tweaking, etc) but once I got the 780 I definitely started to appreciate the out of the box reliability and fit & finish of my Mossberg 590A1 a LOT more!! I'm sure it will make it's new owner happy, it just wasn't for me...

Man I lucked out on mine big time! Mine still runs like a champ. I put a +1 on it and I'm currently shopping for an optic. I've shot 2 3/4 bird shot and slugs through it without issue. I lucked out I guess. To think I called and tried to cancel this gun but it was too late it was already in my name. Just lucky I guess. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trust my life to this gun and it is what it is but I still like it.

Cheers,
Trevor

I wish this deal was still on. I Would totally buy one just for the hell of it.

I just bought 3 mossys and need cash for a stock, mine is unfired but I stripped it and took off most of the sharp edges and cleaned up the bolt lubed with lubriplate, I think most of the problems with them is with the follower, some guys are replacing them,I am selling mine now to sink money into the mossy's!PM if you want it.
